Auditor General's Report: OPM Mismanaged Shs 39 Billion Meant for Karamoja Affirmative Action.

In the preliminary December 2023 report by the Auditor General, it was reported that out of the Shs39Bn meant for the procurement and distribution of goats & iron sheets in Karamoja, Shs1.78Bn was spent on travel in land, while fuel, oil and lubricants cost Shs700m, while OPM also spent Shs300M on vehicle maintenance.  The Office of Prime Minister also allocated another Shs2.2Bn on travel in land for monitoring, while civil works for maintenance of Moroto regional office cost Shs500M, and procurement of iron sheets cost Shs8.8Bn. "What concerns me is that workshops and seminars took Shs1.8Bn, Travel in land Shs1.8Bn, another travel in land Shs2.5Bn. Achievements of Ezama Ham Mizamil When He Was the Deputy RDC for Arua District.

#iip_documentary  Mr Ezama Ham Mizamil who rose from positions of leadership, from being the WestNile regional coordinator for Emyooga in 2019, to being appointed as the deputy RDC for Arua District on March-2022 and later on October 2023 transferred to Arua City as the deputy RCC incharge of Central Division Arua City, together with some stakeholders, has planned to organize a massive thanksgiving ceremony to appreciate God and also the appointing authority, HIS Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni the President of the republic of Uganda for entrusting him into those leadership positions. Veteran Politician Hon Taban Yassin Rallies Contractors to Participate in the New PPDA Policy.

The police in Arua City have put in custody, a suspect in the names of Asea Patrick from Onduparaka, Ayivu Division for one week now over a debt. Mr Asea, first arrested and detained in Onduparaka police station on Monday 6-May-2024 and later transferred to Central Division Arua City CPS on Wednesday 8-May-2024 under file number 28/8/5/2024, the complainant (an Indian businessman) selling Wines and bottled water at KKT Plaza room number C103 claims, Mr Asea Patrick sold away wines and failed to account for the money amounting to 6,500,000 Shs. Yumbe District Paid 147M Shs to Ghost Company to Supply 16 YBR Motorcycles for LC3 Chairpersons.

Contrary to the procurement processes, the CAO by then Innocent Asaba made 100% complete payment to Nile Fishing Company Ltd without supplying any motorcycle to the district.
