How i Lost Hope in National ID.

https://theinformersdotcom.wordpress.com/2021/12/19/how-i-lost-hope-in-national-id/ It was during the chaotic 2018 Arua Municipality MP by-election period when i lost my national ID. All my efforts to trace it were futile! I lost interest in recovering it and i was planning to renew it. Yesterday 18-12-2021 as i was from shaving my hair, i met a lady from my village. I stopped to greet her and i asked where she is staying! She told me, she stays at Arua Primary with her Aunt. There was another lady she was going together with to the market! She then called the lady to come greet me! She introduced me to her as “This is the Guy whose National ID is there at home in Arua primary “. I was shocked! I asked her, is this true! She said it’s real my National ID was found by her Aunt back in 2018. We planned to meet today for the delivery, and indeed she has delivered it to me now. Early this morning, the first thing i had to do when i went to church, was to give testimony in church about my N...

My Thoughts About the Incarceration of Ardent NRM Cadre Matua Job Richard.

1. His arrest comes at the hills of him singing praises at President Museveni / NRM Government. And indeed, no matter how politically coloured / supportive or patriotic oneself is, it doesn’t make them immune to arrests and above the law whenever they are wrong! Lesson learnt! 2. Much as the crime Matua was arrested of is condemnable, it shouldn’t be justification to curtail his freedom beyond constitutional rights! 3. Mr Matua who is an NRM Blogger under incarceration today, will be the same Matua they will need tomorrow as a Blogger to cleanse and defend their name / party in case anything goes wrong! That is why i urge NRM, which is the party in Government to weigh in on his fate no matter the type of case he is charged of at CMI headquarters. #DISCLAIMER . These are my personal opinions and views alone. They are not in anyway affiliated with or in the interest of any politician or any organization or any political party or any individual or any company or any foreign entity i may b...

CREDENTIALISM AND THE PROLIFERATION OF FAKE DEGREES BY SWALLEH HARUNA.

THE EMPLOYER PRETENDS TO NEED A DEGREE; THE EMPLOYEE PRETENDS TO HAVE ONE. by Swaleh Harunah. Credentialism is a reliance on formal qualifications or certifications to determine whether someone is permitted to undertake a task, speak as an expert or work in a certain field. It has also been defined as "excessive reliance on credentials, especially academic degrees, in determining hiring or promotion policies.". Many Ugandan so called journalists report dog bites when in Kenya and elsewhere, journalists report when some one bites a dog. Hope you get the difference.  Only in Uganda, you shortlist an applicant who has a bachelors degree,  a diploma in some thing, has MBA and ACCA plus CPA with several certificates. He also lectures part time etc.  At the end of the interview you wonder if the guy is like you have now known beyond the papers, how about those he teaches? How will his students be?  That is when you will understand the societal impact of the new Ugandan dis...

Hon Mathias Mpuga was on Gen Kale Kayihura’s Fuel List - Norbert Mao.

The Democratic Party (DP) President, Norbert Mao,  has this Saturday afternoon lashed at National Unity Platform (NUP), saying the leader of Opposition in Parliament was a beneficiary of former IGP Gen Kale Kayihura’s largesse. “Your current Leader of Opposition was on Kayihura’s fuel list,” alleged Mao in a heated exchange with NUP supporters on Twitter.   “I’ll fearlessly speak the truth about those who tell lies about me. Be warned. I’m loading a nuclear warhead,” he added. Kayihura, who served as IGP for almost ten years, had infiltrated the opposition parties to the core to the extent that most of the President’s harshest critics picked money from his office and fuel from police.  Mao did not provide evidence to back up his claims. Mpuuga was not readily available for comment.  It all started with Mao calling for a united opposition front to challenge Museveni’s hold onto power.     “For decades I have preached principled unity to deal with Musevenism ...

Technology; Spy Guys Caught Tycoon's Wife Cheating in a Lodge.

Beautiful Nadia Kabahiita is known for parading her nearly perfect life on social media.  But her marriage might end soon after she was caught cheating on her hubby, Yasser Matovu. Going by a video doing rounds online, Nadia was caught red-handed with another man identified as Raymond Kahuma, in a hotel room. In the video, Nadia is seen wearing a bathrobe, clearly having a great time with Raymond.  The video is said to have been recorded by a team of spies hired by Yasser Matovu who had long suspected that his wife was having extramarital affairs. The spies had been following Nadia for some time and gathered every inch of evidence that they fed to the hubby. Backed with evidence, he confronted his wife who couldn’t deny her actions.  Meetings are being held within the family to save the marriage.  Nadia, it is said, is devastated by the whole situation, and to deal with it, she is keeping to herself. She also took down her Instagram account as one way of deali...

Beware! New Spyware Attack Campaign has Infected Over 35,000 Computers.

Industrial and government organizations, including enterprises in the military-industrial complex and research laboratories, are the targets of a new malware botnet dubbed PseudoManyscrypt that has infected roughly 35,000 Windows computers this year alone. The name comes from its similarities to the Manuscrypt malware, which is part of the Lazarus APT group's attack toolset, Kaspersky researchers said, characterizing the operation as a "mass-scale spyware attack campaign." The Russian cybersecurity company said it first detected the series of intrusions in June 2021. At least 7.2% of all computers attacked by the malware are part of industrial control systems (ICS) used by organizations in engineering, building automation, energy, manufacturing, construction, utilities, and water management sectors that are located mainly in India, Vietnam, and Russia. Approximately a third (29.4%) of non-ICS computers are situated in Russia (10.1%), India (10%), and Brazil (9.3%). "...
