WhatsApp has always been a little stingy when it comes to group chat size, but it's getting there. In May, the company increased group size to 512 people and added the ability to share files that are up to 2GB in size. And now, WABetaInfo noticed that the group size has been doubled again. In the latest beta of WhatsApp for Android and iOS, users can add up to 1,023 other participants to a group. The feature is currently available only to a limited number of beta testers, but it's safe to assume it'll be released more widely soon. With this seemingly small change, WhatsApp comes one step closer to Telegram, which allows for massive groups of several hundred thousand people. Of course, such big groups are of little use if you can't properly manage them, but there's good news on that front as well. A Ugandan Member of Parliament has revealed how he won over Shs500 million from  sports betting  and donated all to his voters. According to the legislator, whose identity has been concealed, he won the money after following up on stories of people who won money from  sports betting  through an  association that provides fixed games . He says that he confronted one of the ‘purported’ winners from his constituency when he gave him all the details of how these games are obtained. “I met this young man after he went viral in my community for having won some good money from sports betting, I asked him if it was true, and he affirmed it to be true. The poll included 15 million votes. The much-anticipated decision from the new owner sets the stage for the former president’s return to the social media platform, where he was previously its most influential, if controversial, user. With almost 90 million followers, his tweets often moved the markets, set the news cycle and drove the agenda in Washington. Trump has previously said he would remain on his platform, Truth Social, instead of rejoining Twitter, but a change in his approach could hold major politi
