NRM Party's Manifesto "Protecting the Gains", Are Nonexistent Gains but Failures Just - Says FDC Party's Hon Oguzu Lee Denis, Maracha Constituency MP.

By Oguzu Lee 23-9-2025.  As 2026 elections approach and party loyalists assemble to celebrate yet another architecture of false achievements, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) will unveil a manifesto that boldly proposes to "protect gains" that exist primarily in the alternative universe of political propaganda. While the ruling party's narrative of progress and prosperity grows increasingly detached from the daily experiences of ordinary Ugandans, it is crucial to examine the underlying causes of these disconnects and explore potential solutions by critically looking at sectors that matter. Protecting the Gains is nothing else except attempt to whitewash failure framed as success.  For instance under health sector, what gain will the NRM be protecting exactly? The chasm between promise and reality is visible even for the blind can see. The NRM manifesto is said to prioritize "a well-educated, skilled and healthy population as essential i...

NRM and PLU Form Alliance Ahead of 2026 General Election.

23-9-2025. The National Resistance Movement (NRM) and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) have on Monday 22-9-2025 pledged to deliver over 80 percent of the vote for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the 2026 General Elections, announcing a joint mobilisation strategy to secure a landslide victory. The two groups made the commitment during a joint press conference at the NRM Secretariat in Kampala, where NRM Secretary General Richard Todwong and PLU Secretary General David Kabanda addressed the media. Todwong likened the partnership to a great river fed by many tributaries, describing the alliance as a natural coming together of forces. “The Movement is the main river, and there are many tributaries that feed into it. Today we are united for a common cause,” he said. “Tomorrow we are having the nomination of the National Chairman of NRM, who is supported by all of us on this table, including PLU me...

#Relationship_Tips: Too Loyal, Caring and Honest Men Get Played But Not Loved by Women.

16-9-2025. Let’s be honest. The man who gives up his spine for love will never be loved. He’ll be tolerated. He’ll be used. He’ll be mocked. But he will never be respected. Because women don’t love men they can control. They use them until someone stronger walks in the room. This is the brutal truth. And men need to hear it. Let’s break it down. ⸻ 1. A Doormat Isn’t a Partner Bend to every demand? You think you’re giving her peace. But peace without respect is slavery. A doormat isn’t a husband. It isn’t a lover. It’s just a tool. And tools get replaced the moment they lose their use. ⸻ 2. Submission Doesn’t Inspire Loyalty You can give her money, time, energy, even your soul. It won’t secure her devotion. It will only teach her you’re desperate to be kept. And what she doesn’t respect, she cannot love. ⸻ 3. Strength Is the Root of Desire Attraction isn’t built on gifts or endless approval. It’s built on strength. The strength to say “no.” The strength to hold your boundari...

Divorce Doesn’t Break Wives, It Breaks Children.

#Marriage_Counseling  15-9-2025. Let’s be honest. Divorce is not freedom. It’s fallout. Divorce is not escape. It’s an earthquake. Divorce is not a doorway you walk through. It’s a bomb you drop in the middle of your children’s world. And once it goes off, nothing is whole again. Let’s break it down. ⸻ 1. Divorce is Not a Restart Button  Divorce isn’t about you. It’s about them. Modern women tell themselves,  “I’m unhappy. I’ll start over.” But children don’t get a restart button. They carry the fractures in silence. The wound is invisible— But it bleeds for a lifetime. ⸻ 2. The Court Doesn’t See Men—It Sees Their Bank Account They told you: “Both parents are equal in the eyes of the law.” The truth? You’re not a parent. You’re a paycheck. You’ll pay to visit your own blood. You’ll become a weekend ghost. A surname attached to an invoice. The court doesn’t see a father. It sees a wallet. ⸻ 3. Broken Homes Break Children Kids don’t crave luxury. They crave cert...
