At The Height Of Alarming Unemployment And Poverty Rate In Uganda, General Elwelu Has Urged Youths To Start Selling Banana Leaves And Cow Dung For Survival.

No-nonsense Uganda Peoples Defense Forces (UPDF) commander-land forces, Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu has urged youth to stretch to the furthest limits in their pursuit for jobs— including thinking of selling cow dung for a living. While addressing congregants during a church service in Mukono recently, Elwelu castigated youths for riding on the excuse of unemployment to join ‘misleading’ opposition groups such as People Power. Equating People Power to “Byooya bya nswa” (ant wings/ empty promises), Elwelu urged youths to exercise creativity so as to be able to create their own jobs. “When I see people running around; ooo… omulimo tewali, omulimo tewali, omulimo [there are no jobs]. Tumbavu! (sic),” said a tough-talking Elwelu. He branded such people who cry that there are no jobs as ignorant and lazy. He reminded them that Uganda is so endowed as a country that everything in it — including cow dung and banana leaves — can be sold for money. “Even banana leaves have market, even cow dun...

Finally, for the very first time, an encrypted messaging service provider is taking legal action against a private entity that has carried out malicious attacks against its users. Facebook filed a lawsuit against Israeli mobile surveillance firm NSO Group on Tuesday 29 October 2019, alleging that the company was actively involved in hacking users of its end-to-end encrypted WhatsApp messaging service. Earlier this year, it was discovered that WhatsApp had a critical vulnerability that attackers were found exploiting in the wild to remotely install Pegasus spyware on targeted Android and iOS devices. The flaw (CVE-2019-3568) successfully allowed attackers to silently install the spyware app on targeted phones by merely placing a WhatsApp video call with specially crafted requests, even when the call was not answered. Developed by NSO Group, Pegasus allows access to an incredible amount of data from victims' smartphones remotely, including their text messages, emails, WhatsAp...

Last week of March, a friend told me to pray for Uganda.  I told him that he was an Idiot and we have prayed for too long and we are still hungry and sick and Jesus is not coming soon to liberate us. He then ignored the STUPID and sent me a picture we all now know.  It got me totally messed up.  This guy was telling me to pray then sends a picture of men bowing down in blood.  He might have meant guns but I blocked him because his utterances of praying for Uganda were misplaced. I unblocked him 3 weeks later and asked him about praying and assassinations.  His reply "eithrr prayers or guns or both". I hate violence with a passion.  So he is now blocked in like FOREVER. BEWARE! Uninstall These Apps Immediately. The 42 Apps Developed By a Vietnamese Technology Student, Which Were Initially Certified As Legitimate, Have Been Discovered Malicious. To Know The Listed 42 Apps, Read Details in the Link Provided Above.

First of all, if you have any of the below-listed apps installed on your Android device, you are advised to uninstall it immediately. Cybersecurity researchers have identified 42 apps on the Google Play Store with a total of more than 8 million downloads, which were initially distributed as legitimate applications but later updated to maliciously display full-screen advertisements to their users. Discovered by ESET security researcher Lukas Stefanko, these adware Android applications were developed by a Vietnamese university student, who easily got tracked likely because he never bothered to hide his identity. The publicly available registration details of a domain associated with the adware apps helped find the identity of the rogue developer, including his real name, address, and phone number, which eventually led the researcher to his personal accounts on Facebook, GitHub, and YouTube. "Seeing that the developer did not take any measures to protect his identity,...

Members of Parliament (MPs) sitting on the Committee of Natural Resources have expressed shock that government has already embarked on a process to amend the National Environment Act, 2018, with a likely aim to implement a total ban focusing on the manufacturing of polythene bags. The National Environment Act, 2018, was passed by Parliament in November of last year and sought to repeal the National Environment Act Cap.153 and replace it with a law that conforms to existing government policies and other relevant laws. It banned single-use carrier bags below 30 microns. The law obliges manufacturers of polythene bags and plastics to recycle plastic waste and also label the polythene bags. Industries engaged in producing plastics are also required to give an annual report on the amount of plastic they have produced, how much has been collected from the public and how much has been recycled. President Yoweri Museveni signed the Act into law in February this year. However, Parliamen...

What do you benefit by exposing our safe houses?” Tumwine asked “What do you benefit from the sanctions that the west is putting on us in the cabinet? TECHNOLOGY AND HEALTH. Did You Know, High Speed Internet Usage Is Dangerous To Your Health?. Read Full Details Below Here To Find Out Why. The Government of Japan Has Abolished The Development Of 5G Networks, Citing Its Danger On Human Beings (Health).

Japan will not develop and invest in the creation of fifth-generation mobile networks. This is stated on the official website of the Ministry of High Technologies of the country. Officials expressed the opinion that the creation of a faster Internet than previously is dangerous for the population and may adversely affect people’s health and labor productivity. A study by the University of Nagasaki provides figures confirming the increase in the number of mental disorders and fatigue among high-speed Internet users. According to scientists, the more a person manages to conduct intellectual operations per minute, the more he is prone to the development of stress, absent-mindedness and an increase in nervous excitement. The Ministry of Health supplements colleagues and assures that using 5G networks can reduce the average life expectancy in the country for the first time in 60 years, and the impact of high-speed Internet is comparable to the effects of radiation on the human body....

Meanwhile Labeling Amin Dada as a Brutal Dictator of 1970`s, Bobi Wine Asks Western Countries (Foreign Governments) To Help In Keenly Monitoring 2021 General Elections In Uganda Organised Under President Museveni Errer.

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, has called on the international community to keep an eye on Uganda in the face of increasing cases of human rights violations ahead of 2021 elections. “We appreciate all individuals, organisations, governments and international bodies that are responding to the cries of the oppressed people of Uganda. Like all dictators, Museveni would want the people of Uganda to suffer in silence and in darkness. But thanks to social media and other avenues, his violations have gone out into the world and democracy loving people in the entire world are responding,” Bobi Wine’s statement issued early this week reads in part. “I, therefore, continue to call upon the friends of Uganda to keep your eyes on Uganda. We shall not stop knocking on doors of all who love and are willing to support good governance. As the People Power movement, we believe in relationships, which are not only based on mutual economic interests, but on shared values as we...

EMBATTLED GENERAL KALE KAYIHURA: I REGRET EMPLOYING ABDU KITATA, HE SPOILT MY NAME AND CAUSED ME MORE PROBLEMS.

Former IGP Kale Kayihura recently hosted his old ally Ofwono Opondo at his farm in Kashagama Lyantonde district and while there, the two old friends had a frank discussion on so many things. They mostly reflected on the highs and lows that characterized Kayihura’s colorful reign as the Police Chief last 13 straight years in office. Sources privy to what the two reflected upon say that the brutal activities of NRM Rubaga Chairman Abdullah Kitata and his notorious Boda-Boda 2010 is one of the areas Ofwono Opondo used his old investigative journalistic skills to get Kayihura say something about. Reliable sources say that whereas a paranoid Kayihura was very defensive on most of the things (including claims that he killed Kaweesi and desired to upstage the H.E. YK Museveni), on the Kitata saga he owned up like never before. That he told Opondo the circumstances of the day left him with no option but to rely on informal operators like Kitata whom he thought would act in good faith a...
