Information is Power

After i finished reading a book for few minutes, i turned to internet and this (see screenshot) is the first article that popped up on my screen. How Social Media criticism has provoked and perhaps reduced some of the Government institutions in Uganda ?. Are security operations supposed to be made public (posted on internet) ?. For the fear of being criticised on internet, Uganda Police Force has resorted to posting on internet, the ongoing operations to show to Ugandans and the world that, they are working to secure the Life and Properties of people. As this would be a great gesture for accountability, methinks this would be made public (posted on internet) after concluding (achieving) the target and thereafter a press conference would be held to inform the public on the efforts to investigate and stop the spete of killings in the country. Zakaayo has been having disagreements with his family members for the last 2 years because they failed to agree on how to divide their late mother’s land. Then out of the blue, Nakito reported Zakaayo to police for breaking into her house. Another ‘friend’ of Zakaayo also told police how Zakayo used to talk about how he admired Nakito’s house and how he would love to one day enter and see if it looks like heaven even inside. But things turned around, the Magistrate and the court found that Zakayo was innocent and there was no proof of him having broken into Nakito’s house. After being released by the court, a vengeful Zakayo has declared that he is coming after Nakito for her baseless and vicious claims.  CAN ZAKAYO TAKE ACTION AGAINST NAKITO?  Yes, Zakayo can take legal action against Nakito. It's still of a concern that, the majority population of the World wallows in lack of information on baisc contents of Health, Science, Administrative Governance, Technology, Politics and much more. An uninformed population is actually blind and vulnerable to any breach or attack on his or her rights, health, education, etc etc. We have been and we shall continue to be committed in sensitising / educating the World (the public) on what needs to be learnt, known and done to make the World a better place for everyone to live.
